In 1987, The first Tamari brewery was built outside of Japan in Richmond, Virginia. Seven years later, the Richmond brewery’s capacity was nearly doubled to better meet the demands of the American market. Today, San-J International continues the tradition of quality with a variety of premium soy sauces and cooking sauces.
